My pokemon group so far.

Thought I would post a pic of my Pokemon group so far. Intending to extend this group. Sadly Munchlax and Vulpix are going to new homes so have even less.

Munchlax

This pattern is converted from a crochet pattern. The original creator and pattern can be found in the links at the bottom.

Abbreviations

Stst = Stockinette stitch. Knit being the right side and Purl being the wrong side.

Kfb = Knit front and back into a stitch to increase.

K2tog or P2tog = Knit or Purl 2 stitches together to decrease

B and T = break of yarn leaving a long end and thread through sts left on the knitting needle and pull tight to close the hole then fasten off

If knitting in the round divide the stitches equally among the needles and when it says to Purl a row Knit instead. Stuff as you go on all pieces.

* K2, turn and work on these 2 stitches only, Stst 5 rows starting with a Purl row, B and T ** cut a long piece of yarn (about 10 inchs) and sew down the finger and reattach to where you left off when turning to form the other fingers. Repeat from * to ** for all fingers. When all fingers are done sew the gap in the hand closed and use your fingers to flatten Munchlax's fingers out into a hand shape.

Pin arms to the body, slightly under where you changed from cream to blue

Cut eyes and teeth out of felt or embroider one. Sew mouth on along the join of the cream and Dark blue.

Vulpix

This pattern is a heavily modified version based on the original crochet pattern by Adorablykawaii (see link at bottom of pattern)

Pin the 6 tails on in a fan shape and pin them to each other, then take off and sew together. I sewed three together and then attached them to the other 3  as its easier to wrangle them like that, then pin them back on to the body and sew in place.

Busy busy

I have been very busy for the last 2 months knitting and converting patterns. I have a few to post now so expect them in the next few days. I am also working on a few patterns of my own but I need to have time to test knit them first so they will take a bit longer. Hope to post the first pattern tonight.
