Igglypuff knitting pattern

Body

Cast on 3 sts
Purl
Kfb in every stitch to end (6 sts)
Purl
kfb in every stitch to end (12 sts)
Purl
(k1,kfb) to end        (18 sts)
Purl
(k2,kfb) to end        (24 sts)
Purl
(k3,kfb) to end        (30 sts)
Purl
(k4,kfb) to end        (36 sts)
Purl
(k5,kfb) to end        (42 sts)
Purl
(k6,kfb) to end        (48 sts)
Purl
(k7,kfb) to end        (54 sts)
Purl
(k8,kfb) to end        (60 sts)
Purl
stocking stitch 6 rows
(k8,k2tog) to end      (54 sts)
Purl
(k7,k2tog) to end      (48 sts)
Purl
(k6,k2tog) to end      (42 sts)
Purl
(k5,k2tog) to end      (36 sts)
Purl
(k4,k2tog) to end      (30 sts)
Purl
(k3,k2tog) to end      (24 sts)
Purl
(k2,k2tog) to end      (18 sts)

Cut Yarn leaving a long end and thread through the remaining stitches on the needle.


Sew up the back seam stopping about 2 inches from the bottom to stuff,
just before you finish sewing up put more stuffing in the bottom to make it rounder. 
Hair (Make 3)


Cast on 6
Purl
kfb to end             (12 sts)
Purl
Stocking stitch 4 rows
k2tog to end            (6 sts)

Cut yarn leaving a long end and thread through remaining stitches on the needle.

Stuff lightly, Pin to the top of the head to get the correct placement. 
Sew the bottom two pieces to the head then sew the middle one slightly on top of the other two.




Arms (Make 2)

Cast on 2
Purl 
K1,kfb to end            (3 sts)
Purl
kfb to end               (6 sts)
Purl
Stocking stitch 6 rows

Cut yarn leaving a long end and thread through remaining stitches on the needle.

Sew to the sides of the body about half way down.
Feet (Make 2)
 
Cast on 3
Purl
kfb to end               (6 sts)
Purl
K1,Kfb to end            (9 sts)
Purl
Stocking stitch 6 rows                                                                                 
(K2tog)to last st,K1     (5 sts)


Cut yarn leaving a long end and thread through remaining stitches on the needle.

Sew to the base of the body. 

Once sewn together you can then sew on the features.
